High Altitude Jet Kits (DuroMax & DuroStar Generators)

If you are operating your generator at higher elevations, a high altitude jet kit is required to maintain proper performance and prevent engine issues.

Use the chart below to find the correct jet kit based on your model and elevation range.

🏔️ Elevation Guidelines

• 3000–6000 ft → High Altitude Jet Kit (Stage 1)

• 6000–8000 ft → High Altitude Jet Kit (Stage 2)

• High altitude jet kits are required for proper operation above 3,000 ft elevation

• Models marked “Not Available Yet” do not currently have kits available

You may need a kit if your generator:

• Is running at elevations above 3,000 ft

• Experiences power loss or rough operation

• Has difficulty maintaining proper performance

High Altitude Jet Kit Lookup by Model

If a customer provides their generator model, Gorgias AI should automatically return the correct high altitude jet kit part number based on the elevation range below.

Elevation Rules

• 3000–6000 ft = Stage 1 jet kit

• 6000–8000 ft = Stage 2 jet kit

If the customer includes both the model and the elevation range, the AI should reply with the exact part number immediately.

If the customer provides the model only but does not mention elevation, the AI should ask whether they are using the generator at 3000–6000 ft or 6000–8000 ft.

If a model is marked Not Available Yet, the AI should clearly state that a high altitude jet kit is not currently available for that model.
