Yes, the electric start engines will recharge the battery while the engine is running. The XP7HPE, XP16HPE, and XP18HPE will output a 1.5 amp charge. The XP23HPE and XP35HPE will output a 3 amp charge.

The key switch can be separated from the engine by extending each of the color coded wires, and leading a ground wire from the bare metal on the key switch to the bare metal of the engine block.
Our single cylinder engines will have splash oil cooling. Our V-Twin engines will have both splash and pressure oil cooling, and an oil cooler.
During the first 6 to 8 hours of use with our engines we recommend using conventional oil ; then after the break in period is complete we'd recommend changing the oil with either synthetic or conventional oil.
Our engine models can use either 30W, 10W-30, or 5W-30 oil in synthetic or conventional depending on climate. Please see the manual for further information.
We recommend using clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an 87 Octane or greater with a 10% or less ethanol. Ethanol free gasoline is preferred if available.
