DuroMax Pressure Washers Basic FAQ

What type of nozzles are included with our pressure washers?

The XP2700PWS will include 4 different nozzle types ( 0°, 25°, 40°, and Soap Nozzle). The XP3100PWS will include 6 different nozzle types (0°, 15°, 25°, 40°, Soap Nozzle, and Turbo Nozzle).

What type of soap can be used in our pressure washers?

We only recommend using soap or detergents that specifically state that it is "safe for use with pressure washers" or "made for pressure washers".

Do our pressure washers include the spray wand?

Yes, all of our pressure washers will include the spray wand, hose, and nozzles in the box.

What weight oil should be used in our pressure washers?

Our pressure washer models can use either 30W, 10W-30, or 5W-30 oil in synthetic or conventional depending on climate.

Can bleach be used in the pressure washer?

No, bleach can cause internal damage to the pressure washers spray wand, hose, and pump seals. We only recommend using soap that specifically labels "safe for use with pressure washers" or "made for pressure washers".

How do you prevent overheating on your pressure washer?

All our pressure washers will be equipped with a thermal relief valve rated for 140°F.

How frequent do our pressure washers require maintenance?

All pressure washers will require some type of periodic maintenance that can vary between models. Please see your specific pressure washer manual under the "Maintenance schedule" section for more details on the required maintenance timeframes.

What type of gasoline can be used in your pressure washers?

We recommend using clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an 87 Octane or greater with a 10% or less ethanol cut.

What is the capacity of your pressure washers detergent tanks?

Our pressure washers will have a detergent tank with a 38.4 oz capacity.

Can you use hot water in your pressure washer?

No, hot water can damage the pressure washer pump. The water temperature fed to the pressure washer should never exceed 100°F.
