Below is a description of the suffix on the model number of the generator and what it means:
- If a generator model ends with single letter only which would be either with an "E" or "X" will indicate that the generator will only run off gasoline.
- If the generator model number ends with 2 letters such as "EH", "DX" or "HX" will indicate that the generator has the capability of running off gasoline or propane.
- If the generator model number ends with 3 letters such as "HXT" will indicate that the generator has the capability of running off gasoline or propane, or Natural Gas
Generator Warranty Based off Model Number:
Any Model Number that ends with an "E" or "EH" will have a 3-Year Residential Warranty and 1-Year Commercial Warranty from the date of delivery.
Any Model Number that ends with an "X", "DX", "HX" or "HXT" will have a 5-Year Residential Warranty and 1-Year Commercial Warranty from the date of delivery.
Any Model Number that ends with an "E" or "EH" will have a 3-Year Residential Warranty and 1-Year Commercial Warranty from the date of delivery.
Any Model Number that ends with an "X", "DX", "HX" or "HXT" will have a 5-Year Residential Warranty and 1-Year Commercial Warranty from the date of delivery.
*The EH is our legacy model which is our first series we started to offer dual fuel features.
*The HX Series is considered our premium series. Which runs on Gasoline and Propane and includes some premium features such as Digital Meter (Tracks Voltage, Operating Frequency and Maintenance Hours) . The XP10000, XP12000HX and XP13000HX series is equipped with a Push Button Start and the smaller HX series XP5500HX or smaller will have a toggle start switch. Lastly the larger XP10000HX, XP12000HX, and XP13000HX will have the additional features of an additional set of GFCI outlets, and an automatic choke feature, but XP5500HX or smaller won't have these additional features.
*The DX Series is our Upgraded Dual Fuel Series Generators. Which runs on Gasoline and Propane and includes some premium features such as Digital Meter (Tracks Voltage, Operating Frequency and Maintenance Hours) Is equipped with a Rocker Switch Start and lastly is equipped with a CO (Carbon Monoxide) sensor which will shut down the generator if there is an unsafe build up of CO.
The DX and the HX are almost exactly the same, except their layout is different. They have the same warranty and all the same upgrades compared to the EH version.
